Participating Institutions
Over 300 institutions have participated in the Foundations of Excellence® process since its inception in 2003. During phase I, 322 Institutions assisted in the development of the Foundations of Excellence process. Since then, 167 Institutions have participated in the comprehensive Foundations of Excellence process. This represents 111 four-year and 56 two-year Institutions. The Gardner Institute gratefully acknowledges all of the institutions for their contributions and commitment to first-year students.
CURRENT PARTICIPATING INSTITUTIONS
During the 2009 - 2010 academic year, the Gardner Institute has accepted 13 four-year and 9 two-year institutions that applied for participation in the Foundations of Excellence® process. The current self-study cohort has been named "National Select Institutions" through a competitive application process.
